Personal Background: I am a retired Langley teacher with 32 years in the classroom environment with a concurrent 25 years of developing, marketing and presenting the “ I Can Build It” line of woodworking kits for both retail and students, teachers and community groups.
Workshop Descriptions
“I Can Build It” Nest Boxes/Feeders
Classroom presentations use puppets and nesting boxes or feeders to feature local birds and their natural history. This is followed up with an additional presentation on tool use and safety. I remain on site during the assembly process to assist students.

“Woodworking In the Classroom: Pro D for Teachers”
To assist teachers meet the requirements in the Applied Design curriculum, DonCol has been presenting “Woodworking for Kids Made Simple” in a Pro D setting. Tool use, class management, extension activities, project ideas and hands on building make these workshops both informative and enjoyable.
